Scholarships for Non-Traditional Students

Many scholarships have age limits, leaving non-traditional college students (over 25 years of age) out of luck. However, there are still many scholarships out there that have no age requirements, or are specifically open to non-traditional college students.

SMUD Powering Futures Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and graduates, students who have received their GED, and current undergraduate students who plan to enroll in an accredited college or university in the U.S. in the fall of 2017. Applicant must be a SMUD customer living in SMUD’s service area (greater Sacramento, California area – see website for details) or have a SMUD customer as a legal guardian.
