Scholarships for Non-Traditional Students

Many scholarships have age limits, leaving non-traditional college students (over 25 years of age) out of luck. However, there are still many scholarships out there that have no age requirements, or are specifically open to non-traditional college students.

ASIST – Dallas Scholarship
Sponsor: Executive Women International – Dallas

Closing Date: March 29, 2023
Description: Scholarship is open to non-traditional students who live within the boundaries of the Dallas Chapter who are past high school age and who are either entering college or already enrolled in college. Applicant must have financial need and preference will be given to those individuals with children residing in the home.

Soprema Scholarship Program

Amount: $5,000
Closing Date: March 29, 2023
Description: Scholarship is open to current undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or a similar field.

Bodie McDowell Scholarship
Sponsor: Outdoor Writers Association of America
Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: March 30, 2023
Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate students entering their junior or senior year of study or graduate students. Applicant must have career goals in outdoor communications.

Dechtman Wealth Management National Scholarship Essay Contest
Sponsor: Dechtman Wealth Management
Amount: $3,500
Closing Date: March 30, 2023
Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate students attending a two- or four-year accredited American college. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to personal finance.\
