Scholarships for High School Seniors

College is right around the corner. Here are scholarships open to high school seniors who are off to college in the fall.

Alan H. Selig Scholarship Program
Sponsor: Brewers Community Foundation, Inc.
Amount: $2,500 annually, renewable each year for a total of $10,000 over four years
Closing Date: May 21, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors from a Wisconsin High School Class of 2019 and accepted to a college or university based in the State of Wisconsin.

Jane Calmes ALS Scholarship
Sponsor: ALS Association
Amount: $5,000
Closing Date: May 21, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors, graduates, and current undergraduate students who as had their finances impacted by having been diagnosed with ALS themselves, or a parent/guardian or immediate family member (living or deceased) having been diagnosed with ALS.

B. Davis Scholarship
Sponsor: Student Award Search Aid
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: May 24, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to high school juniors and seniors, as well as current college students. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to leadership.

BDSA Scholarships
Sponsor: Bill Dickey Scholarship Association (BDSA)
Amount: Up to $14,000 over four years
Closing Date: May 24, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who participate in golf. Applicant must provide financial need information.

Species on the Edge 2.0 Social Media Contest
Sponsor: Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey
Amount: Up to $1,000
Closing Date: May 3, 2019extended to May 24, 2019
Description: Contest is open to high school students from across New Jersey. Applicant must create their own original content (video, photograph, computer graphic, etc) or utilize existing Conserve Wildlife Foundation content to illustrate why it is important to protect New Jersey’s rare wildlife.

College Scholarship Sweepstakes

Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: May 25, 2019
Description: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 13 years of age and enrolled in high school or college. Student can enter the sweepstakes daily.

TMCF | Walmart Foundation First-Generation Scholarship
Sponsor: TMCF | Walmart Foundation
Amount: $6,200
Closing Date: May 26, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are first-generation college students and citizens of the United States. Applicant must be accepted to and prepared to attend one of TMCF’s 47 member schools and have at least a 2.5 GPA.

Prospanica Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to United States citizens and legal residents who are of Hispanic/Latino heritage. Applicant must have a Prospanica membership and be enrolled or planning to enroll in a Master’s Degree or undergraduate program in an accredited university business school.

Find Your Path Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students who will be enrolled in a two-year or four-year college or university during the upcoming academic year. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must submit a short introduction and an essay about a time they were facing a hardship and how someone helped them.

AAC’s Behavioral Health Academic Scholarship Program
