College is right around the corner. Here are scholarships open to high school seniors who are off to college in the fall.

Point Foundation Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors and current college student who are “out” as a person who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community. There is no citizenship requirement, but applicant must be attending or planning to attend an institution in the United States.

QCESC Scholarship
Sponsor: The Quad City Engineering and Science Council
Amount: Varies
Closing Date: January 27, 2020
Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors who plan on studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) at an accredited college or university. Applicant must be a Quad City area resident in the Illinois Counties of Carroll, Henry, Knox, Lee, Mercer, Rock Island, or Whiteside, or in the Iowa Counties of Clinton, Scott, Muscatine, or Louisa.

PGA WORKS Golf Management University Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors, graduates, and current post-secondary undergraduates who plan to enroll full-time undergraduate study at one of the 18 accredited PGA Golf Management universities.

Pacific Northwest Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to minority high school seniors who are residents of Washington or Oregon state and planning to enroll full-time in the fall of 2020 at any accredited two-year or four-year college or university. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and have at least a 2.5 GPA.

Childhood Cancer Sibling Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate students who are siblings of individuals who are in current treatment, have survived or passed away from pediatric childhood cancer.

Childhood Cancer Survivor Scholarship Program

Amount: $5,000
Closing Date: January 30, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to cancer survivors, age 25 and under, who are high school seniors or graduates, or current postsecondary undergraduates. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Golden 1 Credit Union Scholarship
Sponsor: Golden 1 Credit Union
Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: January 30, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to Golden 1 members (California) and their dependents. Applicant must be a graduating high school seniors or current college student attending an accredited, nonprofit college or university in California during the 2020-2021 school year.

National Catholic Society of Foresters Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to Catholic graduating high school seniors and current college students. Applicant must be a NCSF member.

Opportunity Scholarship for Locked-Out Dreamers

Amount: Up to $80,000 over four years
Closing Date: January 30, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and high school graduates who live in targeted, locked-out states that do not offer in-state tuition to DREAMers, or bars them from attending state colleges and universities all together.

Technology Addiction Awareness Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to current high school and college students. Applicant must submit a short statement about technology addiction.

$2,000 “No Essay” College Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school, college, and graduate students and those planning to enroll within 12 months. Applicant must be a legal resident of the United States or an international student with a valid visa. Applicant must log in to Niche or create a free account to apply for the scholarship.

ABPA Harrington-Arthur Memorial Scholarship Essay Competition
Sponsor: American Backflow Prevention Association
Amount: $1,500
Closing Date: January 31, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to all persons of high school age (at least 13 and no older than age 19 as of December 31, 2019) who are legal residents of the United States or Canada. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to public drinking water.
