Live Mas Scholarship

Closing Date: February 21, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, between 16 and 24 years of age, who are on track to apply for accredited post-high school/post-secondary educational programs or is currently enrolled in college. Applicant must submit a video (two minutes or less) that tells the story of their life’s passion.

Reedsy National Creative Writing Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to United States citizens and permanent residents who are accepted to, or currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or graduate program within the United States. Applicant must submit the first chapter (1,500 to 7,500 words) of an original novel they are writing, or have written but not published.

ABC Keystone Chapter Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in a trade school, college or university program that is directly related to a construction career. This includes skill trades, engineering, or construction management. Applicant must live in the Pennsylvania counties of Lancaster, Franklin, Adams York, Dauphin, Berks, Cumberland, Lebanon, Perry, or Juniata.

Description: Scholarship is open to West Virginia residents who are college sophomores, juniors or seniors enrolled, or planning to enroll, in civil engineering or a construction related four-year degree program in a West Virginia college or university.

Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative Association Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: February 22, 2019
Description: Scholarships are open to students pursuing careers in the dairy industry, and must be a son, daughter, or employee of a Maryland or Virginia member, or the child of a Maryland or Virginia employee currently enrolled at a two or four-year accredited college, university or trade school.

ROTC Scholarships

Amount: Up to $3,000
Closing Date: February 22, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to Army, Navy (including Marine Corps option) and Air Force ROTC full-time sophomore and junior students with at least an overall 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be enrolled full-time in a degree major that is related to the mission of the AFCEA educational Foundation (Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, and other STEM related majors).

Description: Scholarship is open to students who are enrolled in a college or technical school during the 2018-2019 school year who are interested in pursuing a career in the culinary, tourism, or hospitality industry.

Women’s Board Diabetes College Scholarship

Closing Date: February 22, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who will be attending an accredited public or private institution of higher learning in the fall of 2019 as a full-time student. Applicant must have diabetes and reside in central Ohio.

PAF’s Scholarships for Survivors
Sponsor: Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF)
Amount: $3,000 annually up to four consecutive years, as long as applicant meet the guidelines of the program
Closing Date: February 23, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher who are under the age of 25 and have been diagnosed with or treated for cancer, a chronic, or life threatening debilitating disease within the past five years.

Forest County Potawatomi Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors, technical college, and students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution who are Wisconsin residents.

SMUD Powering Futures Scholarship
Sponsor: Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD)
Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: February 24, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors with at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a current SMUD customer or have a parent/guardian with are SMUD customers.

CEMS Fund Scholarship
Sponsor: Cynthia E. Morgan Scholarship Fund
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: February 25, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to current residents of the state of Maryland who are high school juniors or seniors or currently attending an accredited Maryland post-secondary school. Applicant must be the first person in his/her immediate family who will be attending a Maryland accredited post-secondary school and studying (or planning to study) in the medical field.

Minimum Wage Video Contest
Sponsor: Stossel in the Classroom
Amount: Up to $1,500
Closing Date: February 25, 2019
Description: Contest is open to filmmakers aged 14-23. Applicant must create a 1-3 minute video arguing for or against minimum wage laws and proposals to raise the minimum wage.

NFBPA Scholarship Program
Sponsor: National Forum for Black Public Administrators
Amount: Up to $10,000
Closing Date: February 8, 2019extended to February 25, 2019
Description: Scholarship program is designed to recognized African-American and minority students who are currently enrolled full-time at a traditional four-year college or university, preferably a HBCU, and exemplify outstanding scholarship and leadership.
