Scholarships for Current College Students

Just because you have started college already doesn’t mean you can’t continue to search for outside scholarships! There are many scholarships available that are open to current college students.

AIWA Scholarship Programs

Description: Scholarship is open to female students entering their junior or senior year in college, as well as graduate students, who are of Armenian descent. Scholarships are based on financial need and merit.

Blinded Veterans Association Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to spouses, dependent children, and grandchildren of blinded veterans who are incoming or current undergraduate or graduate students.

CarBrain Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students who will be attending a college or university on a full-time basis for the January 2019 school year. Applicant must submit an essay on a topic focused around cars, the automotive industry, junkyards/car recycling processes or involve automobiles in some way.

Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens who are enrolled in a U.S. college or university. Applicant must submit a video on “Why I love [Brand Name].

Islamic Scholarship Fund Scholarship

Closing Date: March 21, 2019extended to April 19, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to Muslim students who will be enrolled at an accredited university in the U.S. by August 2019 and majoring in an ISF supported major. Applicant must be an undergraduate (junior or senior) or having graduate standing (includes PhD).

NGA Foundation Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to current undergraduate and graduate students who are earning a degree in a business, food management, or other relevant courses of study leading to a career in the independent retail grocery industry. In addition to the general scholarships, there are scholarships open specifically to students who have worked in the grocery industry.

NPG Essay Scholarship Contest

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Applicant must write a letter to the 100+ new members of the 116th Congress explaining why US population size and growth are serious problems for our nation.

PFLAG Cincinnati Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to a U.S. college or currently enrolled college students. Applicant must be committed to AAJA’s mission and candidates will be judged on the basis of academic achievement, demonstrated journalistic ability, commitment to the field of journalism and/or sensitivity to Asian American and Pacific Islander issues.
