Description: Scholarship program is open to low-income high school students to enroll in college courses from Nebraska college or universities, either through dual-enrollment or early enrollment agreements with the institutions. Deadline is for Summer term classes.

AiryHair Cosmetology Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to American and Canadian citizens who have chosen or will choose Cosmetology as their major.

American Legion Baseball Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school graduates who play baseball and are nominated by a head coach or manager.

College Scholarship Contest

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in a college or university or planning to enroll as a freshman for the upcoming academic year. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to bankruptcy.

Come Back Stronger Scholarship

Closing Date: July 15, 2026
Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students . Applicant must submit an essay that discusses “a life-altering obstacle you faced in your life. This can be an injury, illness, loss of a loved one or any other major event. What did you learn from facing this obstacle, and how did you rise above it?”

CRMA Scholarship
Sponsor: Chicago Railroad Mechanical Association (CRMA)
Amount: Up to $2,000

Description: Scholarship is open to sons, daughters, adopted children, grandchildren, and stepchildren of members of the CRMA who have maintained current membership in the Association. Applicant must be enrolled at the time of application as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student.

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled in or accepted to an accredited university, college, or graduate school in the United States. Applicant must submit an essay or video on the following topic: “In what ways has Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder affected you or why do you have a particular interest in the topic?”

Future Journalism Teacher Scholarships
