March 2021 Scholarships

Attending college can be quite expensive for students and their families. Luckily, there are many college scholarships and contests available to help pay for a college education. Students should seek out and apply for scholarships in which they meet the eligibility requirements. Below are a handful of scholarships with March 2021 due dates. Check out the full list of March Scholarships – there are currently over 300 scholarships on the list! More scholarships will be added as they become available.

Microsoft disAbility Scholarship
Sponsor: Microsoft
Amount: $5,000 per year, up to $20,000 total
Closing Date: March 1, 2021
Description: Scholarship is open to current high school seniors living with a disAbility who plan to attend an undergraduate program following graduating. Applicant must plan to declare a major in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, law, business, or a related field.

Private Frontier Essay Contest
Sponsor: Stossel in the Classroom
Amount: Up to $2,500
Closing Date: March 8, 2021
Description: Contest is open to writers aged 12-18. Applicant must submit an essay on what they think about entrepreneurship and innovation.

Carl N. & Margaret Karcher Founders’ Scholarship
Sponsor: Carl’s Jr.
Amount: Up to $10,000
Closing Date: March 9, 2021
Description: Scholarship is open to students, age 21 and under, who reside in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington or Wyoming. Application must be a high school senior or graduate who plans to enroll for the first time in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship Contest
Sponsor: The Gallery Collection
Amount: $10,000
Closing Date: March 9, 2021
Description: Scholarship contest is open to all high school, college and university students enrolled at any time during the latter half of 2018 who are at least 14 years of age. Applicant must be a legal resident of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, or U.S. territories. Applicant must submit a photo, artwork or computer graphic for the front of a greeting card.

Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award
Sponsor: From the Top
Amount: Up to $10,000
Closing Date: March 15, 2021
Description: Award is open to classical instrumentalists, vocalists, and composers between the ages of 8 through high school juniors.

$1,000 March Scholarship
Sponsor: Niche
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: March 20, 2021
Description: Scholarship is open to high school, college, and graduate students and those planning to enroll within 12 months. Applicant must be a legal resident of the United States or an international student with a valid visa. Applicant must log in to Niche or create a free account to apply for the scholarship.

Religious Liberty Essay Scholarship Contest
Sponsor: Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty
Amount: Up to $2,000
Closing Date: March 26, 2021
Description: Scholarship is open to high school juniors and seniors. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to their opinion on whether a religious leader should have the right to run for public office.

Superpower Scholarships
Sponsor: Unigo
Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: March 31, 2021
Description: Scholarship is open to students 13 years of age or older who are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and who are currently enrolled (or will enroll no later than the fall of 2027) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education. In a short written response, student must explain which superhero or villain they would want to changes places with for a day and why.

Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest
Sponsor: VFW Auxiliary
Amount: Up to $15,000
Closing Date: March 31, 2021
Description: Scholarship is open to any student in grades 9-12 who are U.S. citizens or U.S. Nationals. Applicant must submit a piece of art on paper or canvas – water color, pencil, pastel, charcoal, tempera, crayon, acrylic, pen-and-ink or oil may be used.
