There are thousands of scholarships out there. Below you will find many scholarships, most with general eligibility requirements. My goal is to share some lesser-known scholarships with my readers every Saturday.

ACPA College Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who have a diagnosis of cleft lip and/or cleft palate or other congenital craniofacial difference). American Indian Services Scholarship

Bart Kamen Memorial FIRST Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to, or applied for admission, to an eligible undergraduate program, which means a full-time program in Biomedical Engineering, pre-medical studies, or a program that allows students to pursue a chosen major while simultaneously completing a subset of medical school prep courses. Applicant must have participated as a team member for a minimum of one year on a FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge, or FIRST Robotics Competition team.

Columbus Citizens Foundation Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to elementary school, middle school, high school, undergraduate, and graduate students of Italian descent (at least 25% Italian). Applicant must have financial need and at least a 3.0 GPA (for high school and college students).

Community Foundation of Northern Illinois Scholarships

Deja Vu Surf Hawaii Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students who attend an accredited two or four-year, not-for-profit institution within the United States as a full-time undergraduate or graduate students who are residents of Kauai and maintain a 2.7 GPA. EPP/MSI Undergraduate Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens who are currently enrolled as a full-time 2nd year student in a four-year academic program; or transferring from a two-year to a four-year institution, or a 3rd year student in a five-year program. Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship

Guthrie-Koch Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to young persons with phenylketonuria (PKU) who are on the diet treatment and about to attend or already attending a college, university, or technical school at the undergraduate level. Residents of any country may apply, but the application and letters of recommendation must be in understandable English.

Harriet Fitzgerald Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to highly motivated female graduating high school seniors who have a desire to attend a women’s college in the United States. Applicant must have at least a 3.7 GPA. There is no citizenship requirement, but student must plan on attending a college in the U.S.

Junior Duck Stamp Contest

Description: Contest is open to students in grades K-12 who attend public, private, or home schools in the United States and the U.S. territories. Contestant must draw, paint, or sketch a picture of an eligible North American waterfowl species. Deadline only for Maryland and California only. All other states have a later deadline.

Description: Scholarships are open to incoming and current college students from Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina. Scholarships are open to students in the United States regardless of sex, age, color, nationality or religious background, but it does seek to provide support to persons motivated by spiritual values. Description: Scholarship is open to Tennessee residents who are 25 years of age or older. Applicant must be an entering freshman in an eligible post-secondary institution or have not been enrolled for at least two years after last attending any post-secondary institution. Applicant must have an adjusted gross income of $36,000 or less on their IRS tax form.

Walt Disney Company UNCF Corporate Scholars Program

Winston Two-Dimensional Art Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to Baptist students, including children of Baptist missionaries, and those preparing for Baptist mission service.
