Do you like making a difference in your school or community? If you do, DoSomething has many campaigns to make a difference, and for participating, you will be entered to win a scholarship! Below are campaigns from DoSomething that are accepting entries in January.

$1,500 Easy Scholarship: Use a Greener Way to Travel for a Day
Scholarship Amount: $1,500

Description: You could win an easy $1,500 scholarship just by using an environmentally sustainable way to commute to school, work, or another place you commonly visit. Just answer 5 easy questions about how you normally get around and we’ll give you a greener way to travel (like cycling, walking, or carpooling), plus an easy way to calculate just how much carbon dioxide you’d save from being emitted into the atmosphere. Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: January 31, 2021
Description: You could win an easy $1,000 scholarship by swapping stories with an older adult to decrease isolation during COVID-19. Ask an older adult to share a story with you. You’ll earn verified volunteer credits and the chance to win a $1,000 scholarship.

Eligibility Information

While there is no GPA, test score, or essay requirements, there are some eligibility requirements students must meet to enter any of the above scholarship opportunities:

  • US or Canadian citizens, regardless of residence OR reside in the U.S. or Canada.
  • 13 to 25 years of age.

The above scholarship contests are easy to enter and you’ll be making a difference. Check them out and participate before the closing dates.
