Scholarship Saturday – August 22, 2020

There are thousands of scholarships out there. Below you will find many scholarships, most with general eligibility requirements. My goal is to share some lesser-known scholarships with my readers every Saturday.

Description: Award is open to classical instrumentalists, vocalists, and composers between the ages of 8 and 18 who have not yet entered college during the 2020-2021 academic year. This is the first deadline. Deadline II is January 4, 2021, and Deadline III is March 3, 2021. High school seniiors must apply by December 4, 2020.

Innovation in Education Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in high school or college within the United States with at least 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a citizen of, permanent resident, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada. Grant Program for Dependents of Correctional Officers

Description: Grants are open to residents of Illinois who are enrolled at least half-time at an ISAC-approved Illinois two- or four-year college. There is a grant available to dependents of police or fire officers and dependents of correctional officers.
