September 2020 Scholarships

Attending college can be quite expensive for students and their families. Luckily, there are many college scholarships and contests available to help pay for a college education. Students should seek out and apply for scholarships in which they meet the eligibility requirements. Below are a handful of scholarships with September 2020 due dates. Check out the full list of September Scholarships – there are currently 100 scholarships on the list! More scholarships will be added as they become available.

Cash for Cars and College Scholarship

Closing Date: September 2, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to college aged females who are pursing a degree or certification in an automotive technology field such as engineering, mechanics, design, or auto body at an accredited college or technical school.

Love Your Career Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: September 10, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to current college students. Applicant must submit an essay describing at least three steps that they plan to take in the next year to start a path towards having a career that they love.

Cameron Impact Scholarship
Sponsor: Bryan Cameron Education Foundation
Amount: Up to $50,000
Closing Date: September 11, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors (Class of 2021) who are planning to enroll in a full-time course of study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year U.S. college or university. Applicant must maintain a minimum cumulative unweighted 3.7 GPA.

Freethought Day High School Essay Scholarship
Sponsor: Freethough Day
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: September 16, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to California high school students (grades 9-12) who plan to pursue post-secondary education at a community college, four-year college, trade school, or vocation school. Applicant must submit an essay on voter turnout.

We the Future Contest
Sponsor: Constituting America
Amount: Varied based on class standing
Closing Date: September 17, 2020
Description: Contest is open to K-12 students, college students, law school students, graduate schools students, adults 25 years of age and older, and seniors 65 years of age and older. Contest is about the U.S. Constitution. Each age group has different requirements, so applicants should visit website for details.

$1,000 September Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: September 20, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to high school and college students, as well as adults looking to attend college in the next year. Applicant must complete a form to login or register for a free account.

College Raptor Scholarship
Sponsor: College Raptor
Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: September 30, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to student who are enrolled (or will enroll no later than the fall of 2020) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning. Applicant must sign up with College Raptor (free) and submit an essay one of four given topics related to college.

Shout It Out Scholarship
Sponsor: Unigo
Amount: $1,500
Closing Date: September 30, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to students 13 years of age or older who are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and are currently enrolled (or will enroll no later than the fall of 2026) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education. Applicant will need to submit a short response to a given prompt.
