Students should seek out and apply for scholarships in which they meet the eligibility requirements. Below are a handful of scholarships with May 2020 due dates. Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. residents who are graduating high school seniors or college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to pets.
Countdown to College Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to college-bound teens in 9th-12th grades. Students need to sign up for Potential Magazine’s free weekly eNewsletter and they will automatically be entered to win the scholarship.

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students. Applicant must submit a short introduction and an essay on their good choices like choosing not to drive distracted or choosing not to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Description: Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who will be attending college for the first time in the fall of 2020. Applicant must upload a video to Instagram announcing their college decision.
Review Your College Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 13 years of age or older at the time of application and who are currently enrolled or have previously been enrolled) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning. Applicant must provide a star rating and written review of an accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning they are or have attended.
Christian Connector Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students with plans to enroll for the first time as a full-time student at a Christ-centered Christian college or Bible college within 16 months.
Comedy Defensive Driving Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students. Applicant must take the pledge related to driving and design an advertisement against distracted driving.
Fifth Month Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students 13 years of age or older who are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are currently enrolled (or will enroll no later than the fall of 2025) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education. Applicant must “write a letter to the number five explaining why five is important.”
