Do you like making a difference in your school or community? If you do, DoSomething has many campaigns to make a difference, and for participating, you will be entered to win a scholarship! Below are campaigns from DoSomething that are accepting entries in October.

STEM Superheroes: Draw or Print a STEM Superhero to Inspire Younger Students
Scholarship Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: October 15, 2019
About: Women, people of color, and people with disabilities are less likely to pursue STEM careers.
How to enter: You could win an easy scholarship by drawing an original superhero who uses STEM to make the world a better place! How to enter: Share an online guide with friends about the dangers of e-cigs and vaping. Everyone hates when a remake goes wrong, and e-cigs/vapes are a bad remake of cigarettes. How about we back stuff we do want like Silentó, the man behind the Whip/Nae Nae? Share an online guide with friends to show them that e-cigs and JUUL are just a bad remake of regular cigarettes. You’ll be entered for a chance to win a $5,000 scholarship, and the school with the most guide shares will win a visit from Silentó himself!

Eligibility Information

While there is no GPA, test score, or essay requirements, there are some eligibility requirements students must meet to enter any of the above scholarship opportunities:

  • US or Canadian citizens, regardless of residence OR reside in the U.S. or Canada.
  • 13 to 25 years of age.

The above scholarship contests are easy to enter and you’ll be making a difference. Check them out and participate before the closing dates.
