There are thousands of scholarships out there. Below you will find many scholarships, most with general eligibility requirements. My goal is to share some lesser-known scholarships with my readers every Saturday.

Description: Scholarship is open to students admitted or enrolled in a baccalaureate or higher degree nursing program at an AACN member institution affiliated with CastleBranch (see link for details). Applicant must also have at least a 3.2 GPA in current program or at last school attended.

Description: Scholarship is open to juniors, seniors, and graduate students who are enrolled full-time at a four-year accredited college or university in the fall of 2019. Applicant must be pursuing a degree in Accounting, Banking, Business, Economics, Finance, or Information Technology and must have a minimum GPA of at 3.3. Preference or priority will be given to candidates who are permanent residents of California, New York, New Jersey, or Arizona, and first generation college students.

  1. You all don’t list a lot of things for older (seasoned) people wanting to return to school. A lot of is are on fixed incomes, don’t want to take out loans (especially if they’ve been forgiven in the past), but school is expensive, a lot more than when I was in college, and there should be grants and scholarships out there for us too if we want to finish something we started, or to further our knowledge for something we might be looking into doing to help ourselves.
