Do you like making a difference in your school or community? If you do, DoSomething has many campaigns to make a difference, and for participating, you will be entered to win a scholarship! Below are campaigns from DoSomething that are accepting entries in December.

Scholarship Amount: $5,000

How to enter: Take this quiz to find out how much e-cig companies are hiding from you about their products.

Grab the Mic: Anonymously Share Your Thoughts on Politics!
Scholarship Amount: $3,000
Closing Date: December 31, 2018
About: In November, young people voted at historic rates. In fact, there was a 47% increase in youth voter turnout from the last midterm election.
How to enter: You can win the easy scholarship just by anonymously answering one opinion question about politics. Every response counts as an entry. One entry per person.

Share a Helpful Tip with a Friend
Scholarship Amount: $5,000
Closing Date: January 15, 2019
How to enter: Help prevent impaired driving by giving a friend a (house, mailbox, etc.) key to start the conversation about how you can prevent impaired driving. Each action completed on the campaign page equals one entry. Each action counts as an entry. Unlimited entries!

Treat Yo Friends: Make a Friend an IOU Activity Book to Celebrate What Makes Them Unique
Scholarship Amount: $5,000
Closing Date: January 31, 2019
About: 1 in 5 students experience bullying, often because of the passions that makes them who they are.
How to enter: You can win an essay scholarship just by finding an activity your friend loves to do and asking them to do it with you! Every submission of a photo of your IOU booklet will count as an entry. Unlimited entries.

The Five Actions Challenge: Five Days and Five Ways to Make an Impact This Holiday Season
Scholarship Amount: $5,000
Closing Date: January 31, 2019
About: Only 14% of people feel a strong connection to their community.
How to enter: You can win the scholarship by doing five nice things in five days this holiday season. Sign up to receive daily actions, like make thank you cards for people in your school to collect cans for local food and homeless shelters. Snap a picture of you doing the daily action and you’ll be entered to win the scholarship

Eligibility Information

While there is no GPA, test score, or essay requirements, there are some eligibility requirements students must meet to enter any of the above scholarship opportunities:

  • US or Canadian citizens, regardless of residence OR reside in the U.S. or Canada.
  • 13 to 25 years of age.

The above scholarship contests are easy to enter and you’ll be making a difference. Check them out and participate before the closing dates.
