About: HPV is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections, but vaccination can help protect you against certain cancers and diseases. Thing is, having theTalk with your parent or guardian can feel suuuper awkward.
How to enter: Make a card (or print one DoSomething has created) to tell your parents you want to stay cancer-free. You can prevent many kinds of cancer with the simple, free HPV vaccination. Use the tips (and funny, clever simple cards!) to tell your parents that getting vaccinated against HPV and staying cancer free is important to you. Upload a photo of your card and you’ll be entered to win the scholarship.

Grab the Mic: Share Why You Care About the Environment

About: Only 19% of drivers have the right about of air in their tires.
How  to enter: Print a flyer (or make your own) about tiresafety and leaving it under your friend’s windshield wiper. They’ll learn how to save money on gas and stay safer on the road, and you’ll automatically be entered to win the scholarship.

Run a Voter Registration Drive!
Scholarship Amount: $3,000

About: 75% of young Americans say the government isn’t listening to them. It’s time to speak up at the polls and be so loud you can’t be ignored!
How to enter: Run a voter registration drive at your school! It only takes a couple of hours. DoSomething will walk you through the easy process and you’ll be entered to win the scholarship. One entry per person.

Eligibility Information

While there is no GPA, test score, or essay requirements, there are some eligibility requirements students must meet to enter any of the above scholarship opportunities:

• US or Canadian citizens, regardless of residence OR reside in the U.S. or Canada.
• 13 to 25 years of age.
