About: 34% of the total population of people experiencing homelessness is under the age of 24.
How to enter: Share an infographic to educate friends on challenges faced by the homeless population. You’ll inspire friends to help the homeless and you’ll be entered to win the scholarship.
Lose Your V-Card: Share a Link to Help Your Friends Register to Vote
Scholarship Amount: $5,000
Closing Date: July 31, 2018
About: Over 69 million young people are eligible to vote in 2018. Your generation has the power to decide this election.

How to enter: Take a simple quiz to see how well you know your best friend. Based on your answers, you’ll find out what kind of driver, passenger, or pedestrian your best friend is. Then you’ll receive customized tips to help them stay safe on the road! Just for taking the quiz, you’ll automatically be entered to win the scholarship. The Talk: Make a Card to Tell Your Parents You Want to Stay Cancer-Free
Scholarship Amount: $3,000
Closing Date: September 17, 2018
How to enter: Make a card (or print one DoSomething has created) to tell your parents you want to stay cancer-free. You can prevent many kinds of cancer with the simple, free HPV vaccination. Use the tips (and funny, clever simple cards!) to tell your parents that getting vaccinated against HPV and staying cancer free is important to you. Upload a photo of your card and you’ll be entered to win the scholarship.
Eligibility Information
While there is no GPA, test score, or essay requirements, there are some eligibility requirements students must meet to enter any of the above scholarship opportunities:
- US or Canadian citizens, regardless of residence OR reside in the U.S. or Canada.
- 13 to 25 years of age.
