Do you like making a difference in your school or community? If you do, DoSomething has many campaigns to make a difference, and for participating, you will be entered to win a scholarship! Below are campaigns from DoSomething that will begin accepting entries on May 1.

Grab the Mic: Make a “Happy Ramadan” Card for Muslims in Your Community
Scholarship Amount: $3,000
Closing Date: May 31, 2018
About: Muslim Americans across the nation are reflecting on community, compassion, and charity during the month of Ramadan.
How to enter: Create a “Happy Ramadan” card for Muslim Americans in your community. DoSomething will tell you what to write on your card and where to mail it. You’ll make an impact and automatically be entered to win the scholarship. Unlimited entries.

Lose Your V-Card: Share a Link to Help Your Friends Register to Vote
Scholarship Amount: $2,000
Closing Date: May 31, 2018
About: Over 69 million young people are eligible to vote in 2018. Your generation has the power to decide this election.
How to enter: Simply share the link DoSomething provides with a friend by text, email, or social media to help them register to vote online. it only takes 2 minutes for them to register! Each time you share a unique registration link, you will receive one scholarship entry. Unlimited entries.

School the Vote: Run a Voter Registration Drive!
Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: May 31, 2018
About: Only 53% of young people are registered to vote.
How to enter: Run a voter registration drive at your school! It only takes a couple of hours, DoSomething will walk you through the easy process, and you’ll be entered to win one of three scholarships.

Eligibility Information

While there is no GPA, test score, or essay requirements, there are some eligibility requirements students must meet to enter any of the above scholarship opportunities:

  • US or Canadian citizens, regardless of residence OR reside in the U.S. or Canada.
  • 13 to 25 years of age.

The above scholarship contests are easy to enter and you’ll be making a difference. Check them out and participate before the closing dates.

    • The scholarships are open to students in the United States and Canada. If you live in the U.S. or Canada and you are between the ages of 13 and 25 years of age, you can participate.
