  1. Are there any scholarships that an enrolled Blackfeet member who is studying outside of the USA can apply for?

    • Hi Lee. Unfortunately I don’t know any scholarships specifically for Blackfeet members. There used to be a scholarship provided by the Blackfeet Nation, but I don’t think they are offering it any more. And, unfortunately, many of the scholarships I know about are for students who will be studying in the U.S. The only scholarships I know for U.S. students to study abroad are for short-term study abroad programs – meaning you are a student at a U.S. college but you study abroad for a semester or a year.

Do look at the scholarships listed on my Scholarships open to Native American students list: https://jlvcollegecounseling.com/scholarships/minority/native-american/ While there aren’t scholarships open specifically to Blackfeet members, it is open to all Native American students.

      Good luck!

  2. Thank you, Lee. ~ do you know of any scholarships for an African-American young man who will be a college freshman as of this fall, 2017.
