Shred Paper to Stand Against Bullying – Shred Hate
Scholarship Amount: $5,000

About: Nearly 1 in 4 students reports being bullied during the school year. That can lower self-esteem and increase chances of depression, anxiety, and alcohol/drug use.
How to enter: Shred paper to speak out against verbal negativity. On a piece of paper, write something negative that you want to overcome or stamp out. Then destroy that paper with your friends!
Spread Positivity in Your Community! – New You New Us
Scholarship Amount: $3,000
Closing Date: January 31, 2017
About: More than three-fourths of Americans see the country as divided. That’s a record high. Just 21% of Americans see our country as united.
How to enter: Create a “Resolution Wall,” a shared space for members of your community to post goals for the upcoming year.
Make a Valentine’s Day Card! – Love Letters Challenge
Scholarship Amount: $3,000
Closing Date: February 10, 2017
About: Getting older can be pretty lonely. In fact, as of 2012, 11.8 million American seniors live alone and face isolation due to location, disability, or language barriers.
How to enter: Create one thoughtful card for a senior and upload a pic of the card.
Eligibility Information
While there is no GPA, test score, or essay requirements, there are some eligibility requirements students must meet to enter any of the above scholarship opportunities:
- US or Canadian citizens, regardless of residence OR reside in the U.S. or Canada.
- 13 to 25 years of age.
