About: Most YouTube videos use auto-generated captions that captions that contain tons of mistakes (that are kind of funny)! But’s it’s not so funny to the 360 million folks globally who relay on closed captions to understand the video.
How to enter: Check out some of your favorite creators and see if they have accurate closed captions. If the captions are inaccurate, leave the YouTuber a comment letting them know how important it is to make their channel accessible. For every video you find and leave a comment, you can receive an entry for the scholarship.

About: Every year, we see countless headlines of Halloween costumes, sold and worn, that perpetuate racist, cultural stereotypes.
How to enter: Sign up for facts on cultural appropriation and tips on educating people about it. DoSomething will provide a new list of costumes that perpetuate the stereotypes. Applicant is asked to leave a one-star rating online. For every review you submit, you earn another chance to win the scholarship.
Share Ways to Keep Friends Safe

About: Abuse and misuse of prescription pain medication has reached epidemic levels in the U.S. In fact, 44% of people personally know someone who has been addicted to pain meds.
How to enter: Provide your phone number and the numbers of three friends. DoSomething will text you and them an invite to receive the guide of simple and effective ways to keep friends safer from abusing pain meds. You will automatically be entered to win the scholarship.

About: The U.S. has fallen behind the world in terms of science and math. One big reason is that many of our classrooms don’t have the money for books and equipment.
How to enter: By playing and sharing the game on your phone, you’ll help fund a classroom by unlocking a real donation by The 3M Company. Plus, you’ll automatically be entered to win the scholarship.

Eligibility Information
While there is no GPA, test score, or essay requirements, there are some eligibility requirements students must meet to enter any of the above scholarship opportunities:
- US or Canadian citizens, regardless of residence OR reside in the U.S. or Canada.
- 13 to 25 years of age.
