Los Angeles Immigration Lawyer Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to current college students who are either U.S. born students whose parents are from another country, or a foreign-born student who immigrated to the United States. DACA, undocumented immigrants, and students currently undergoing the green card application process are especially encouraged to apply.

Mexican-American Dream Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to full-time students at four-year institutions or two-year community colleges who are considered undocumented or benefit from AB-540 or DACA. Applicant must be attending school in one of the following California counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, Inland Empire, or Ventura.

Description: Scholarship is open to high school students and international equivalents. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to science and math.

NHHF Scholarship
Sponsor: National Hispanic Health Foundation (NHHF)

Closing Date: October 6, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled full-time in an accredited graduate program in dental, medical (allopathic or osteopathic), pharmacy, nursing, public health or health policy. Applicants are not required to be Hispanic, however, an affinity for the health of Hispanic communities and an interest in NHHF Scholars Alumnus activities is required. Student must be a U.S. Citizen, permanent lawful resident, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).

LULF Dream Scholarship

Amount: Up to $1,000
Closing Date: October 15, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to current undergraduate and graduate students who reside in the United States and have a least a 2.8 GPA. Applicant must be DACA qualified although applicant does not need to have applied or received DACA to be considered. Scholarship is open to all races and nationalities, but part of the application asks applicants what impact they have had on improving or supporting the Latino/Hispanic community.

Scholarship America Dream Award

Description: Scholarship is open to students who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at the sophomore-year level or higher at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the United States for the entire 2018-2019 academic year. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or individuals granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA). Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA and financial need.

Description: Award is open to Latino high school seniors who excel both inside and outside the classroom, who have at least a 3.0 GPA and are Permanent residents, DACA, U.S. Citizens, or eligible non-citizens. Applicants must be from the Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Phoenix, San Francisco/Bay Area, or Washington, DC areas.

Help to Save Scholarship

There is no citizenship requirement but student must have attended an accredited two-year institution in the United States.
