Freedom of Religion Foundation Catherine Fahringer Memorial Award

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who live in the U.S. , who identify as atheist, agnostic, humanist and/or secular, and are accepted into a two or four-year college. Preference is given to students of color (Black/African American, Latino(a), Asian/Pacific Islander, Native American). Students who are (or have been) in foster care, homeless, undocumented and/or LGBTQ are encouraged to apply.

Description: Scholarship is open to currently enrolled students working towards a degree in a field of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics from a group underrepresented in their field of study. Underrepresented groups may be defined by gender, race, ethnic background, disability, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status, nationality, and other non-visible differences.

Grace Towers Scholarship for the Arts

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students in California who are 16 to 25 years of age and identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community. Applicant must have, at some point in their high school or post high school career, demonstrated a commitment to raising awareness about LGBTQ+ issues, combating homophobia and/or bullying or educating their community about similar topics.

David Hudak Memorial Essay Contest for Freethinking Students of Color

Description: Competition is open to freethinking students of color ages 17-21 who are either high school seniors or students currently enrolled in a college or university. Applicant must submit an essay on a given prompt related to rejection of religion.

American Indian Services Scholarship

Description: Applicant must be one-quarter (1/4) Northern-Native American Indian and enrolled in undergraduate studies at a university, junior college, or technical school. Applicant must have at least a 2.25 GPA.

Description: Scholarship is open to students who have shown academic achievement as reflected by a minimum 3.0 GPA and have completed at least one semester of classes at an accredited law school.
