Description: Scholarship is open to college seniors who will be graduating in December 2019 at one of the 47 publicly-supported HBCUs and Predominantly Black Institutions. Applicant should be in good academic standing and at rick of not graduating due to an outstanding financial need.

Traumatic Brain Injury Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled at or accepted to an accredited college in the U.S. Applicant must demonstrate academic achievement as reflected by a cumulative minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must also have a documented brain injury diagnosis provided by a licensed healthcare professional.

Varsity Tutors College Scholarship Contest

AXA Achievement Scholarship

Description: Applicant must be a current high school senior who plans to enroll full-time at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire 2020-2021 academic year. Applicant must demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community or work-related activities. APPLY EARLY – only the first 10,000 applications will be considered.

Edison Scholars Program

Amount: Up to $10,000 per year, totaling $40,000 over four years

Description: Scholars program is open to high school seniors planning to pursue science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) at a four-year college or university on a full-time basis. Applicant must also have at least a 3.0 GPA and live in the Southern California Edison service territory.

Predoctoral Fellowship

Description: Fellowship is open to all citizens, U. S. nationals, and permanent residents of the United States, as well as individuals granted deferred action status under the DACA program. Applicant must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an eligible research-based program leading to a Ph.D. or Sc.D. degree at a non-proprietary U.S. institution of higher education. Applicant must be committed to a career in teaching and research at the college or university level. Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in high school or college within the United States with at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a citizen of, permanent resident, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada. Applicant must have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others and submit an essay describing the goal of the particular project and provide supporting documentation.

Jay Kennedy Memorial Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students at a four-year college in the United States, Canada or Mexico who will be a Junior or Senior during the 2019-2020 academic year. Applicants do not have to be art majors to be eligible for this scholarship. Applicant must submit an entry form and eight samples of their own cartooning artwork.
