NJCPA Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to college-bound high school seniors intending to major in accounting. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted for permanent residence, and a New Jersey resident attending a New Jersey public, parochial or home school high school.

Novus Biologicals Scholarship Program

Amount: $1,500
Closing Date: December 13, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to students worldwide enrolled or accepted for enrollment in undergraduate or graduate studies with a declared major in a science related field. Applicant must submit a personal statement and a statement on what they believe the biggest hurdle for people working in their specific field of interest and why.

Predoctoral Fellowship

Amount: $24,000

Description: Fellowship is open to all citizens, U. S. nationals, and permanent residents of the United States, as well as individuals granted deferred action status under the DACA program. Applicant must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an eligible research-based program leading to a Ph.D. or Sc.D. degree at a non-proprietary U.S. institution of higher education. Applicant must be committed to a career in teaching and research at the college or university level. Membership in one or more of the following groups whose underrepresentation in the American professoriate will be considered a positive factor when choosing candidates: Alaskan Natives, Black/African-Americans, Mexican Americans/Chicanas/Chicanos, Native American Indians, Native Pacific Islanders, and Puerto Ricans.

R&D Systems Scholarship

AXA Achievement Scholarship

Amount: Up to $25,000
Closing Date: December 14, 2018 or until 10,000 applications are received
Description: Applicant must be a current high school senior who plans to enroll full-time at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire 2019-2020 academic year. Applicant must demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community or work-related activities. APPLY EARLY – only the first 10,000 applications will be considered.

CGTrader Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students who have at least a 2.5 GPA. Applicant must submit an essay on “our life on a spaceship: the future of mankind.”

Edison Scholars Program

Amount: Up to $10,000 per year, totaling $40,000 over four years
Closing Date: December 14, 2018
Description: Scholars program is open to high school seniors planning to pursue science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) at a four-year college or university on a full-time basis. Applicant must also have at least a 3.0 GPA and live in the Southern California Edison service territory.

Foot Locker Scholar Athletes Program
Sponsor: Foot Locker Foundation, Inc.
Amount: $20,000
Closing Date: December 14, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. students who are currently involved in high school sports, intramural sports, or community-based sports. Applicant must be entering college in fall 2019 as a freshman at a four-year school for an undergraduate degree.

Letters About Literature Competition
Sponsor: Center for the Book in the Library of Congress
Amount: Up to $1,000
Closing Date: December 14, 2018
Description: Competition is open to students in grades four through 12. Applicant must select a fiction or nonfiction book, poem or play and write a personal letter to the author on how the author’s work changed the applicant or their view of the world.

Take Care of Texas Video Contest
Sponsor: Take Care of Texas
Amount: Up to $2,500
Closing Date: December 14, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to Texas high school students in grades 9 through 12. Applicant must submit a video that portrays positive ways Texas can help keep our air clean, keep our water clean, conserve water, save energy, or reduce waste.
