HSC Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to students of Hispanic/Latino heritage who plan to enroll in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States with at least a 2.5 GPA. Applicant must reside in Texas, but U.S. citizenship is not required.

Irene Adler Prize

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students who have a current JASC Family membership or their own Student/Individual membership. Applicant must also be a resident of the State of Illinois for at least one year prior to graduation or graduating from an accredited Illinois high school.

Merit Over Money: Let’s Change the College Admission Process

Description: The recent college admission scandal exposed something that the majority of students, especially low-income students and student of color, know too well: even if they’re not bribing colleges, those with money can game the systems, while those without it don’t have a shot.
