SHI Scholarship Program

Spirit of Youth Scholarship Fund

Description: Scholarship is open to junior members of the American Legion who are high school seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must submit an essay on what they will do to make their college or university a better place, as well recommendations from their principal or guidance counselor, a member of the clergy, and two other adult citizens (a total of four recommendations).

Tennessee HOPE Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to Tennessee residents who are 25 years of age or older. Applicant must be an entering freshman in an eligible post-secondary institution or have not been enrolled for at least two years after last attending any post-secondary institution.
