Geiger Scholarship

Description: Scholarships are open to students in 6th grade or above who have Island residency on one of Maine’s 15 year-round, un-bridged islands. Middle school scholarships are for students attending off-island enrichment or travel programs, including summer camps. High school scholarships are for students attending a semester enrichment program or attending an off-island summer camp, travel, or enrichment program. College scholarships are for semester or summer study abroad programs. There is also a scholarship for students enrolled in a gap year program between high school and post-secondary education.

Description: Contest is open to students in grades K-12 who attend public, private, or home schools in the United States and the U.S. territories. Contestant must draw, paint, or sketch a picture of an eligible North American waterfowl species. Deadline only for Idaho, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Virginia, and Wyoming.
