Description: Sweepstakes is open to high school seniors and college undergraduates with permanent residence in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia. Students can enter online or by mail once during each two week drawing period.

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors in good academic standing (minimum GPA of 3.4) who will attend an accredited college or university in Fall 2019. Description: Scholarships are open to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a dental hygiene or dental program. Multiple scholarships available, including specific scholarships for minority students, male students, and students in the states of California, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Virginia and Wisconsin.

Roothbert Fund Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to incoming and current college students from Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina. Scholarships are open to students in the United States regardless of sex, age, color, nationality or religious background, but it does seek to provide support to persons motivated by spiritual values. Finalists will be invited for a brief in-person interview usually in New York, New Haven, Philadelphia and Washington, DC (travel costs not paid for by organization).

Applicant must plan to attend an accredited four-year college or university as a full-time student in an approved engineering, computer science, mathematics or physics program.

Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors and current college freshmen and sophomores who are no older than 20 years of age as of August 1, 2019. Women in Ag Scholarships

Junior Duck Stamp Contest

Description: Contest is open to students in grades K-12 who attend public, private, or home schools in the United States and the U.S. territories. Contestant must draw, paint, or sketch a picture of an eligible North American waterfowl species. Deadline only for Missouri, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Virginia. Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and South Carolina deadlines have already passed, but all other states have a later deadline – see website for details.

National Italian American Foundation Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors, undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate, medical, and legal students who will be enrolled in higher education for the Fall 2019 semester and have a GPA of at least 3.5. Applicant must have at least one ancestor who immigrated from Italy. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships open to specific majors and state residency.

GWSCPA Scholarship Awards Program

Description: Scholarships are open to undergraduate and graduate students who are attending a college or university located within 25 miles of the White House. Applicant must be studying accounting and planning to sit for a CPA exam.

Legacy of Life Essay & Video Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors who reside in and attend high school or is home schooled in Northern Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, DC. Applicant must submit an essay or video trying to convince a given audience to register as organ, eye and tissue donors.

Esperanza Education Fund Scholarship

Closing Date: April 1, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors at a high school in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia or a recent GED grad residing in DC, Maryland or Virginia. Applicant must have been born outside the U.S. or have two parents who were born outside of the U.S. There is no citizenship or legal residence requirements.

Description: Scholarship is open to college students who have sat for an actuarial exam and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Anti-Bullying Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who attend Newport News Public Schools who exemplify how to prevent bullying and are helping to eliminate the problem of bullying in their school.
