Scholarships for students Pennsylvania. Some scholarships specifically open to Pennsylvania students, and others give preference to students in Pennsylvania.

Princeton Prize in Race Relations

Description: Award is for students currently enrolled in ninth through twelfth grades in a participating region (Alabama, Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Connecticut, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Memphis, Miami, Nashville, New Jersey, NYC, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Rochester, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, St Louis, or Washington, DC) who have been actively involved in a volunteer activity that has had a significant, positive impact on race relations in their school or community.

Lou Manzione Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania who are registered with USA Hockey.

Roothbert Fund Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to incoming and current college students from Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina. Scholarships are open to students in the United States regardless of sex, age, color, nationality or religious background, but it does seek to provide support to persons motivated by spiritual values. Finalists will be invited for a brief in-person interview usually in New York, New Haven, Philadelphia and Washington, DC (travel costs not paid for by organization).

Jimmy Rane Foundation Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors and current college freshmen and sophomores who are no older than 20 years of age as of August 1, 2022. Applicant must reside in one of the following states or the District of Columbia: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia. Students will be selected based on academic excellence, community involvement, leadership skills, awards and honors, and financial need.

ABC Keystone Chapter Scholarship

Amount: Up to $3,000
Closing Date: February 25, 2022
Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in a trade school, college or university program that is directly related to a construction career. This includes skill trades, engineering, or construction management. Applicant must live in the Pennsylvania counties of Lancaster, Franklin, Adams York, Dauphin, Berks, Cumberland, Lebanon, Perry, or Juniata.

Junior Duck Stamp Contest
Sponsor: United States Fish & Wildlife Service
Amount: Up to $1,000
Closing Date: March 1, 2022
Description: Contest is open to students in grades K-12 who attend public, private, or home schools in the United States and the U.S. territories. Contestant must draw, paint, or sketch a picture of an eligible North American waterfowl species. Deadline only for Maine, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Virginia. Deadlines have already passed for California, Maryland, and Massachusetts, but all other states have a later deadline – see website for details.

National Italian American Foundation Scholarships
Sponsor: The National Italian American Foundation
Amount: Up to $12,000
Closing Date: March 1, 2022
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors, undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate, medical, and legal students who will be enrolled in higher education for the Fall 2022 semester and have a GPA of at least 3.5. Applicant must have at least one ancestor who immigrated from Italy. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships open to specific majors and state residency.

Pennsylvania House of Representatives Scholarship
Sponsor: The Foundation for Enhancing Communities

Closing Date: March 1, 2022
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are legal residents of Pennsylvania with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicant must be planning to attend a four-year college in Pennsylvania and demonstrate leadership and community service.
