Georgia United High School Scholarship Competition

Description: Scholarship is open to Georgia graduating high school seniors who are members of Georgia United Credit Union in good standing. Applicant must submit a video sharing how they are going to use their education to help their community.

Geiger Scholarship

Closing Date: February 28, 2019
Description: Scholarships are open to students in 6th grade or above who have Island residency on one of Maine’s 15 year-round, un-bridged islands. Middle school scholarships are for students attending off-island enrichment or travel programs, including summer camps. High school scholarships are for students attending a semester enrichment program or attending an off-island summer camp, travel, or enrichment program. College scholarships are for semester or summer study abroad programs. There is also a scholarship for students enrolled in a gap year program between high school and post-secondary education.

HACEMOS Scholarship program

Description: Scholarship is open to high school students and graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university. Applicant must be of Hispanic heritage OR a dependent child of an active HACEMOS member, age 25 and under.

Hadden Scholarships
Sponsor: Youth Foundation, Inc.
Amount: Up to $4,000
Closing Date: February 28, 2019
Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors who are United States citizens seeking higher education at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States. The Scholarship Committee will consider character, financial need, scholastic achievement (at least a 3.5 GPA), objectives, volunteerism, potential for leadership and good citizenship.

Helen McCloy Scholarship
Sponsor: Mystery Writers of America

Closing Date: February 28, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are serious aspiring mystery writers and who wish to improve their writing skills. The scholarship shall be used to offset tuition and fees for writing workshops, writing seminars, or university/college-level writing programs taking place in the U.S. in summer, fall or winter 2019 or early 2020.

I Heart My School Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to legal U.S. residents who are 18 years or older and who are attending or will be attending an accredited college or university. Applicant must submit an essay on what makes their school awesome.

IASA Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to current college students with at least a 3.0 who are working towards a degree in Accounting, Actuarial Science, Finance, Information Technology, or Risk Management – all within an insurance program or in pursuit of a career in insurance.

Jesse Brown Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to volunteers who are age 21 or younger and have volunteered for a minimum of 730 hours over a span of five years at a VA medical center.

Kim and Harold Louis Family Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and individuals entering their freshman year of college during the 2019-2020 academic year. Applicant must have at least a 3.5 GPA and demonstrate outstanding personal achievements, academic merit, leadership qualities and/or community service. Special consideration will be noted for applicants who have parents who are U.S. veterans or currently in the U.S. military, students with financial need, first generation college students, and students with a documented significant disability.

LAGRANT Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and AB-540/DACA recipients who are a member of one of the following ethnic groups: African-American/Black, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, or Native American/Alaska Native. Applicant must be a full-time student at a four-year accredited institution in the U.S. with at least a 3.0 GPA and majoring in a field of study that has an emphasis on advertising, marketing or public relations.

Leadership 1000 Scholarship

Amount: Up to $5,000

Description: Scholarship is open to students who plan to attend, or are currently attending, an eligible four-year college or university in Washington State and whose family income does not exceed the amount listed by family size (available on website).
