Employment Boost Academic Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students who have at least a 3.6 GPA. Scholarship is open to students worldwide, but student must be attending college in the U.S. In addition to the general scholarship, there is a scholarship open only to students studying in a Business or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) fields. For the general scholarship, applicant must read and interpret a given poem. For the STEM scholarship, applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to technology.

Description: Contest is open to legal U.S. residents who will be a full-time student at a U.S. college or university in the 2020-2021 academic year. Applicant must share how they envision their future. Student can choose to share through poetry, photography, ink, collage, painting, mixed media, or graphic design – as long as it is an original creation.

Herbert Lehman Education Fund Scholarship

IDDBA’s Scholarship for Growing the Future
Sponsor: International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association

Description: Scholarship is open to current full- or part-time employees of an IDDBA-member company. Applicant must work a minimum of 13 hours per week during the school year for an IDDBA-member company to be eligible. Applicant must be a current or returning college or vocational/technical school student with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Illinois CPA Society Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are Illinois residents and enrolled in an Illinois college or university. Applicant must plan to sit for the CPA exam in Illinois within three years of application. In addition to the general scholarship, there are scholarships open specifically to African-American students and women.
