Description: Scholarships are open to incoming and current college students from Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina. Scholarships are open to students in the United States regardless of sex, age, color, nationality or religious background, but it does seek to provide support to persons motivated by spiritual values. Finalists will be invited for a brief in-person interview usually in New York, New Haven, Philadelphia and Washington, DC (travel costs not paid for by organization).

Ruth K. Jacobs Memorial Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to junior and senior college students and graduate students who are full-time Music majors with choral church music as a primary intent.

SME Education Foundation Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors, current undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degree students who are pursuing degrees in manufacturing or a related field at a two-year or four-year college or university. Multiple scholarships are available.

W.H. “Howie” McClennan Scholarship
Sponsor: International Association of FireFighters
Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: February 1, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to sons, daughters and legally adopted children of firefighters killed in the line of duty in the United States or Canada who are planning to attend a university, accredited college, or other institution of higher learning.

Winston Classical Voice Scholarships
Sponsor: National Society of Arts and Letters
Amount: $12,000
Closing Date: February 1, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens between the ages of 16 and 22 years of age. Applicant must submit a ten-minute vocal performance. Scholarship funds are for private study, special training or personal advancement in the applicants’ future careers. The funds cannot be used for college tuition, housing or travel.

Winston Two-Dimensional Art Scholarships
Sponsor: National Society of Arts and Letters
Amount: $12,000
Closing Date: February 1, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens between the ages of 16 and 22 years of age. Applicant must submit five (5) art works done within the past two years. Scholarship funds are for private study, special training or personal advancement in the applicant’s chosen art field – funds cannot be used for college tuition, housing or travel.

WMU Scholarships
Sponsor: Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) Foundation

Description: Scholarships are open to Baptist students, including children of Baptist missionaries, and those preparing for Baptist mission service. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships open only to females, medical school students, students from South Carolina, and students preparing for Baptist Christian ministry.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to Zetas and non-Zetas who are high school seniors and current college students. In addition to the general scholarships, there are scholarships specifically to students studying Anthropology, Counseling, Education, Health Sciences, Medicine or Social Work. In addition, there is a scholarship for students who will be studying abroad.

Description: Scholarship is open to students beginning their final year in an NAAB Accredited Architecture program in the fall of 20 who currently reside in the United States.

Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors who are Texas residents and plan to attend a Texas college or university. There are multiple scholarships with specific requirements.

Media Plan Case Competition

Description: Competition is open to undergraduate students enrolled at a college or university in the United States. Applicant must team up with another student (does not need to attend same institution) to submit a competitive media plan.

TSCRF Scholarship
Sponsor: Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Foundation (TSCRF)
Amount: At least $2,000
Closing Date: February 3, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to students who are accepted or enrolled at an accredited university in Texas or Oklahoma with plans to pursue a degree program in agriculture or an agriculture-related program (Animal Science, Pre-Vet, Agribusiness, Range Management or Wildlife).

Harry S. Truman Scholarship

Amount: Up to $30,000
Closing Date: February 4, 2020
Description: Scholars program is open to full-time junior-level students at four-year institutions pursuing a bachelor’s degree during the 2019-2020 academic year. Applicant must have an extensive record of public and community service and is committed to a career in government or elsewhere in public service.

Boren Scholarship
Sponsor: Boren Awards for International Study
Amount: Up to $20,000

Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. undergraduate students to study less commonly taught languages in world regions critical to U.S. interests, and underrepresented in study abroad, including Africa, Asian, Central and Eastern Europe, Euasia, Latin America, and the Middle East.

General Application Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors, current college students, and those not currently enrolled in high school or college who will be attending college in the near future who are from Indiana. The foundation administers over 100 scholarships every year with different requirements – check website for specific details.
