Scholarship Saturday – September 5, 2020

There are thousands of scholarships out there. Below you will find many scholarships, most with general eligibility requirements. My goal is to share some lesser-known scholarships with my readers every Saturday.

National CPR Foundation Healthcare and Education Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students who are at least 18 years of age and have a minimum GPA of 2.8. Applicant must be currently or planning to be enrolled in school majoring in a healthcare or education-related field.

Nitro College Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to legal residents of the United States who is at least 17 years of age or older. Applicant must meet one of the five following eligibility requirements: 1) a parent of a student currently enrolled in an accredited college, 2) a student who is currently enrolled in an accredited college, 3) a parent who has a student enrolled as a high school senior, 4) a current high school senior, or 5) a student or parent whose child has graduated from an accredited undergraduate school and who is currently paying back a student or parent loan.

The Music Center Spotlight Program

Description: Program is open to Southern California high school students who have talent in Acting, Non-Classical Voice, Classical Voice, Non-Classical Dance, Ballet, Jazz Instrumental and Classical Instrumental. Applicant must submit an audition video. Each category will be limited to 400 applicants, so get your application in early!

YoungArts Competition
Sponsor: National YoungArts Foundation

Description: Competition is open to students between the ages of 15 and 18 who have talent in visual, literary, design or performing arts. There is a $35 application fee, but it can be waived if you meet requirements.

BMO Capital Markets Lime Connect Equity Through Education Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to current undergraduate and graduate students in the United States and Canada. Congressional App Challenge

Description: Challenge is open to U.S. students in middle school or high school who live in a Congressional district that is participating (check website for details). Applicant must create any type of app they like on any platform they like.
