Description: Scholarship is open to National AAEP student members who are active within their school’s AAEP chapter. Applicant must be currently attending an AVMA Accredited College of Veterinary Medicine.

AMS Graduate Fellowships
Sponsor: American Meteorological Society
Amount: $25,000
Closing Date: January 11, 2019
Description: Fellowship is open to students entering their first year of graduate school in the fall of 2019 who are pursuing a degree in atmospheric or related sciences. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or hold permanent resident status and have at least a 3.25 GPA.

AWWA Scholarships
Sponsor: American Water Works Association
Amount: Varies
Closing Date: January 11, 2019
Description: Scholarships are open to current undergraduate and graduate students with an interest in working in the water industry (engineering, research, etc.). In addition to the general scholarships, there are scholarships specifically for female students and minority students.

Letters About Literature Competition
Sponsor: Center for the Book in the Library of Congress
Amount: Up to $1,000
Closing Date: January 11, 2019
Description: Competition is open to students in grades four through 12. Applicant must select a fiction or nonfiction book, poem or play and write a personal letter to the author on how the author’s work changed the applicant or their view of the world. Unfortunately some state deadlines have already passed – see website for details.

Ohio Soybean Council Scholarship Program

Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: January 11, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students at an Ohio college or university who are studying in a science or agricultural field.

Pride Foundation Scholarships

Description: Applicant must be a resident of the Northwest (Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington) and pursuing post-secondary education. Applicant must also be LGBTQ or a straight ally student leader.

Sacks for CF Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who have cystic fibrosis.

SimpleTexting Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: January 11, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors between the ages of 16 and 22. Applicant must be attending college in the U.S. or a U.S. territory. Applicant must submit an essay on who they texted first to tell them know that they were accepted to a college and why it was important to share that moment with them.

TAPCO Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors who are TAPCO members.

UNCF Princeton Committee Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to current college students attending a HBCU. Applicant must be a permanent resident of the state of New Jersey from Mercer, Middlesex, or Somerset Counties. There are no major restrictions to be eligible for this opportunity, however applicants planning to major in one of the STEM related fields are highly encouraged to apply.
